Guns N’ Roses fans may be waiting another lifetime before they hear anything new from the Hall Of Famers. Yes, sadly, Guns N’ Roses guitarist, Slash, stated recently that the group has not even put in the mental work to get any new songs out to the crowd yet. This begs the question of if the band really wants to write anything new or if they are happy to just play the classics for sold out arenas. Surely, the band doesn’t have to write anything new if they don’t want to at this point as they can ride the rest of their time out on the hits that were made many years ago.
In a recent interview, Slash opened up about if Guns N’ Roses were on track to any new songs or albums. Slash stated that at this point they haven’t even sat down to begin writing anything new at all. The interview seemed to not really turn out the best for fans of the band as Slash didn’t even seem that interested in talking about any new work or lack of.
As transcribed by <a href=”http://BLABBERMOUTH.NET”>BLABBERMOUTH.NET </a>Slash stated: “As far as new GUNS is concerned, we haven’t even gotten to that point of really in earnest sitting down and writing,” he said. “We’ve been doing a lot of material that’s been sort of sitting around for a while. So that will be a whole focused endeavor unto itself.”
