Original Guns N’ Roses drummer, and off and on ‘Not In This Lifetime’ tour guest, Steven Adler discussed his Bosley hair loss treatment in a new interview with Bill Burr. Alternative Nation transcribed his comments.

“You [Bill Burr] are bald, and you’ve got a beautiful head, so you look really good, you’re a really handsome guy. Me, my head is lumpy, I would not have a good bald head. I went to Bosley, I said fuck that, I’m going to Bosley.”

Adler said that many famous entertainers have had hair loss treatment and hair transplants.

“Of course, do you know how many movie stars, rock stars, due it’s the 21st century. If you can do it, do it.”

He added, “Dude, there’s a list a mile long. I have that disease where I’m losing my hair, it’s called middle age, and it’s going to happen to everybody out there.”

He later discussed his poor diet he had when he was a drug addict.

“Heroin and crack will do that to you. You live on Jack in the Box tacos and ding dongs, and Yagermiester. That’s the life of a drug addict.”

He also discussed being sexually abused.

“It’s West Hollywood, there’s always guys trying to pick you up, it was the 70’s. I used to hang out at the Rainbow and the Starwood and stuff like that, and one night this older teenager I was hanging with drugged me, and I ended up getting sexually abused by these two guys.

I was like 13 years old, and I couldn’t talk about that forever, but it was something deep inside that hurt me. Once I talked about that in my book, you wouldn’t believe how many people have come up to me and said, ‘You talking about that made me able to talk about it.’”
