Dear rock fans, there’s a band on the horizon that is here to give modern rock and roll a jolt. They’re called Greta Van Fleet, and if you haven’t listened to them, go do yourself that favor.
In an age where some say rock is dead while others think Twenty One Pilots is a rock band, we’ve needed a bit of a resurgence in our genre. Greta Van Fleet has a contemporary groove to them all while oozing the peace-loving, flower flowing quintessence of the 1970s. Comprised of blues-soaked guitar riffs and chilling soulful screams, their debut EP Black Smoke Rising has become one of the most popular releases in rock this year.
Alternative Nation had the chance to sit down with singer Josh Kiszka this past weekend at Louder than Life Fest in Louisville Kentucky after their stellar performance. Check out the interview below and give this group a listen!
