Pearl Jam will go on their first North American Tour in two years with the 2020 North American tour, which is now rescheduled for May and September 2022. The shows are in support of their 2020 album Gigaton, and will begin from May 3 in San Diego and wrap up in on May 20 in Las Vegas. The band also add four new locations to the lineup – Fresno, Sacramento, Camden, and Las Vegas.

The band stated that there is no general public sale for tickets. All tickets are available through Ticketmaster for Verified Fans.

Users on the Pearl Jam forum on the band’s official website have found that the ticket prices for the Fresno tickets are unusually low. A user posted on the forum, “What’s up with Fresno?

There’s a ton of tickets including pit at prices that are a fraction of what they are at other venues. If I lived in California I’d make the drive. I’ve flown to Europe because I couldn’t get tickets here.”
A user suggested that the price of flying into Fresno is high, which doesn’t make it an attractive location for people to attend the concert.
Another user gave three reasons why they think the Fresno ticket prices are so low:

“1. Pearl Jam is Dad Rock and not that popular anymore (doubtful)1

2. It’s on a Monday night which for a lot of people is a school/work night (more likely)
3. With 5 shows in the three largest population centers and a sixth in Sacramento, there’s not much incentive for people who live in California to go to that show (most likely)”
Another user chimed in, saying that not many people consider Fresno to be “nice ‘2-3 day getaway’ city”.
According to users in the thread, some have decided to go to the Fresno show to save some money. They are also planning to visit the Yosemite National Park which is nearby.
