At Pearl Jam’s show in Krakow on Tuesday, Eddie Vedder pointed out a few young people in the crowd. One kid he thought was very cool and when he is of age, Ed will buy him a drink. Another young man with a Soundgarden shirt was brought up to meet the band, and was handed one of Stone Gossard’s guitars to play “Yellow Ledbetter” with the band.
Eddie Vedder’s wife Jill wrote about the performance with the Soundgarden fan on Instagram, “Poland .. I love you… and to this kid who I met today …my friend … you were the sweetest and the coolest and I hope you enjoyed your moment with these guys.. .. 🙂 I enjoyed meeting you too … so much … rock on! Peace and love to you always ??.”
Eddie Vedder, Mike McCready, and Matt Cameron were recently photographed wearing Soundgarden shirts onstage at a Pearl Jam concert, and they were thanked by Vicky Cornell on Twitter for the kind gesture.
