Smashing Pumpkins Announce Huge 30th Anniversary Show With Special Guests


The Smashing Pumpkins have announced a 30th anniversary performance on August 2nd in Holdel, New Jersey as part of the Shiny and Oh So Bright tour featuring Billy Corgan, James Iha, and Jimmy Chamberlin.

“Celebrate a special evening with The Smashing Pumpkins as they honor 30 years since the band’s inception. The night will be filled with special guests, a career-spanning set list, never before seen production, and more surprises from this momentous performance under the stars. This memorable show will be part of a limited series kicking off on August 2nd in Holmdel, NJ at PNC Bank Arts Center. Tickets on sale Friday June 1.”

The Pumpkins are set to release a new single titled “Solara” imminently. It will be the first new Smashing Pumpkins song to feature Jimmy Chamberlin since 2009, and the first Pumpkins song to feature James Iha since 2000.

Billy Corgan posted on Memorial Day, “In honor of all veterans for Memorial Day, here’s a picture of my grandfather Henry Maes in Navy dress (he served and was decorated in WW2). I am proud of his service and bravery, and wish all other armed service members and their families a warm day of remembrance.”
