The video clip is from the trailer for “Let There Be Drums!” which recently released. It will be a documentary film about “the art of drumming [and] the musicians who’ve mastered it.”

In the movie, there’ll be one of Taylor Hawkins’ final known interviews, before the late Foo Fighters drummer passed away earlier this year, in March. In the trailer, Hawkins reminisced about his starting point as a drummer, saying:

“The second I sat on those drums, it was like a bolt of lightning went through my body, and I’ll never forget that day.”

Besides Hawkins, other high-profile musicians included in the documentary include Red Hot Chili Peppers’ Chad Smith, Green Day’s Tré Cool, and The Beatles’ Ringo Starr, among many others.

“Let There Be Drums!” is due for release on October 28, on Apple TV, Amazon Prime Video, and select theatres.

Foo Fighters guitarist Chris Shiflett has started to call out “disrespectful Twitter private investigators” for speculating over Taylor Hawkins‘ death. In late March an initial toxicology report found that multiple drugs including opiates, antidepressants and marijuana were found in Hawkins’ system at the time of his death. “The Foo Fighters family is devastated by the tragic and untimely loss of Taylor Hawkins,” a statement from the band read upon Hawkins’ death.
