The Stone Roses blazed through the Manchester music scene in 1989, releasing one of the most acclaimed debut albums of the alternative era before quickly fading away in 1994.

Though their initial stint in the mainstream was short-lived, the band’s influence and legacy continues to be felt, and the band have finally released the first single off of their long-awaited follow up to 1994’s The Second Coming, “All For One”.

The currently untitled record will accompany a string of tour dates in America and Europe; if this crispy rocker is anything to go by, the Stone Roses are back and bigger than ever with a re-energized sound for the contemporary audience. Check out “All For One” below, which is available on Apple Music and Spotify.

What caused the delay–wasn’t it some legal issues?

      Where do you want start..?

  • Absolutely brilliant. how good was that?

  • Keith.

Awesome. Hope they add more US dates.

  • Felonious Punk

Second Coming was indeed shit compared to their debut, but Ten Storey Love Song was pretty great regardless.

This one gives me hope for the new album.

Personally, I have never been able to understand the appeal. Everyone reveres these guys, but I think their music is excruciatingly dull. Overrated is an understatement. And the vocals are crap. But hey, to each their own!

  • Jimmy Intense

Lol @ 5 of the dates in the UK. Guess the US doesn’t want much of a second coming of shite. These guys are the epitome of overrated garbage.

  • iLeonD

    Great song.

Now if we could just get the Gallagher brothers to put aside their differences and pick up the phones…
