It has come to light that the photo of Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl’s alleged baby was fake and the user has also revealed that the page was fake.

Grohl recently opened up about his new fatherhood journey and he was asking for his wife’s forgiveness.

Dave Grohl recently revealed his unfaithfulness in an Instagram post. “I’ve recently become the father of a new baby daughter, born outside of my marriage,” the “Everlong” singer wrote.

“I plan to be a loving and supportive parent to her. I love my wife and my children, and I am doing everything I can to regain their trust and earn their forgiveness. We’re grateful for your consideration toward all the children involved, as we move forward together,” his statement concluded.

Shortly after his shocking admission, an Instagram post allegedly revealed his new daughter – named Roxie Junie Grohl and the rumor surfaced on social media.

A social media user with the handle @valeriegreyston shared a since-deleted photo Wednesday of a snuggly baby holding a mother’s hand with a lengthy caption claiming the that the baby belonged to the Foo Fighters frontman.

“My sweet Roxie Junie Grohl, being your mama has already been the most incredible experience of my life,” the post began. “Every day, I fall more in love with you and this new role.”

However, the star broke his silence via a spokesperson, as a rep for Dave has claimed to TMZ that the post is a hoax.

The user has also claimed to be 16-year-old and made it clear that the page was fake and it was a publicity stunt to gain more followers.

Reports also state that he hired a divorce attorney before making the shocking announcement. The Grammy winner met Blum, a former model, at a West Hollywood, California, bar in 2001, and they tied the knot in August 2003. The former Nirvana drummer and Blum share three daughters: Violet Maye, 18, Harper Willow, 15, and Ophelia Saint, 10.
