Pearl Jam’s Lollapalooza Argentina performance has been canceled due to ‘severe climactic conditions.’ LCD Soundsystem, Kygo, The National, and David Byrne were also set to perform. Red Hot Chili Peppers and Imagine Dragons headlined the first day, while The Killers, Lana Del Ray, and Liam Gallagher performed on the second day.

Lollapalooza Argentina’s official announcement states:

Due to severe weather conditions during the night, with heavy storms, lightning and wind gusts that are expected to continue throughout the day, it has been resolved, in compliance with instructions from government authorities, to cancel the third festival date. Those who have purchased tickets on the official site can visit the Lollapalooza Argentina application, the web www.lollapaloozaar.com and their social networks to obtain information about the reimbursement corresponding to the third date.

“Being our absolute priority the safety of our public, artists and staff – as happened last Friday and Saturday – and as the government authorities indicated, in line with our policy of respect and care for our people, we are forced to have to take the regrettable decision to cancel the third day of the festival, “said Diego Finkelstein, founder of DF Entertainment, the promoter of Lollapalooza Argentina.

In view of the cancellation of the third day of the Lollapalooza Argentina festival, by the disposition of the competent authorities due to the severe weather conditions, AllAccess communicates that the return of the money of the third day of the festival is guaranteed. In the next 48 hours, the procedure to be followed for this purpose will be published on its website and social networks.
