A group of British Nirvana fans are offering the band’s surviving members a gig with Nickelback frontman Chad Kroeger in 2019, Kerrang reports.

“The campaign starts here,” says the Facebook event page, which lists January 1, 2019, as the date this gig is hoped to happen.

At the time of posting this story, 374 people are set to attend, while 1,400 are interested in going.

The proposed venue by fans for the show is not Wembley Arena or the O2 Arena. It is The Nirvana Hair and Beauty Bar in Manchester.

Be Reet, the proposed host of the show, jokingly posted on the Facebook event page, “‘Nickelvana’ Tour announcement imminent. Support comes from Puddle Of Mudd, Bush and Silverchair.”

A fan named Rob commented, “You got the event title wrong! Change it to ‘Chad Kroegar from Nirvana’ :D”

John commented, “Can’t wait. I already know it’s gonna be the gig of 2019!”
