Greta Van Fleet were recently interviewed by Forbes, and revealed how that have managed to hold it together despite pressure on an ‘exhausting’ tour, which they recently got a break from due to Josh Kiszka’s health issues.

Lead singer Josh Kiszka described the tour as “exhausting” and “nonstop” albeit admitting it will be easier to process when they get out of the “raging storm.” Josh’s twin brother and lead guitarist Jake Kiszka said it had been unexpectedly “long and difficult” but contrasted that with the “grandeur of being able to play in front of people who are coming to see you, to affect them and to continue to hone our performance and evolve ourselves musically.”

They have gotten to a point of being used to large crowds screaming their names in what drummer Daniel Wagner describes as a “whole different ball game.” However, getting to that point required overcoming pressures that have mounted as they have moved towards a higher profile and visibility.

“The one thing I myself have learned about pressure is it is conquerable. When this all happened it happened so quickly, your lifestyle immediately changes. I’m 19 and I’m in this crazy world,” Wagner said. “Unconsciously, yes, the pressure builds up. You really have to just get through it, we had to do it together, all four of us. Then you are conquering it and pressure isn’t even a thing anymore.”
