Dave Abbruzzese has responded to ‘GOOFBALL’ Pearl Jam fans claiming he was NOT on the band’s tour with Red Hot Chili Peppers and Smashing Pumpkins in 1991. The comments were made on Alternative Nation.

Billy Corgan claimed Pearl Jam were almost dropped from the tour by their label, which Abbruzzese, Pearl Jam’s legendary former drummer, has disputed.

A fan commented, “The full story is that Pearl Jam were sad that if their single didn’t pickup steam they were going to get pulled from the tour (totally normal in the music biz). Dave Abbruzzese wouldn’t have even been with the band yet.”

David Abbruzzese responded, “I was in the band a few weeks before Ten came out.”

Another fan said, “Dave has lost the plot!! I had to leave his page because it was just becoming sad and embarrassing….hopefully he can get some help and calm down before he has some serious health issues.”

Dave responded, “I haven’t lost any plot. Ya goofball! I am currently struggling to keep people informed about what is going on with this current administration and also making music.

Healthy and happy, other than the fact that the USA has been overrun by an orange goon.”
