Axl Rose has tweeted in PROTEST of President Trump insulting Ukraine’s Vladimir Zelensky.

Rose posted a photo of the Ukraine flag after President Trump insulted Ukraine’s President during negotiations with Vladimir Putin to end the Russia and Ukraine war.

In a recent series of statements, President Donald Trump has intensified his criticism of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, labeling him a “dictator without elections” and suggesting that Ukraine initiated the ongoing conflict with Russia. These remarks have sparked significant international backlash and concern.

During a speech in Miami, Trump asserted that Zelensky’s leadership lacked democratic legitimacy due to the suspension of elections under martial law since 2022. He further claimed, without evidence, that Zelensky’s approval rating had plummeted to 4%. In reality, recent polls indicate that approximately 57% of Ukrainians trust their president. Ukraine’s constitution prohibits elections during martial law, a measure supported by all parliamentary parties to ensure national security amid the Russian invasion.

Trump’s assertions that Ukraine bears responsibility for the war have been met with strong rebuttals. NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg emphasized that Russia’s unprovoked invasion is the root cause of the conflict. Similarly, French President Emmanuel Macron and UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer reaffirmed their support for Ukraine, with Macron highlighting Zelensky’s status as the democratically elected leader and criticizing any narrative that undermines Ukraine’s sovereignty.

The Kremlin, however, has welcomed Trump’s remarks. Spokesperson Dmitry Peskov expressed appreciation for what he described as a new U.S. approach that seeks to understand the “causes” of the Ukraine conflict, aligning with Russia’s narrative.

In response to Trump’s comments, President Zelensky accused him of residing in a “disinformation bubble,” asserting that such statements distort the reality of Russia’s aggression against Ukraine. Despite the ongoing war, Zelensky maintains substantial domestic support, reflecting the resilience and unity of the Ukrainian populace in the face of external threats.

These developments have raised concerns among international observers about the potential implications of U.S. foreign policy shifts on the stability of the region and the broader international order.
