Tool RETURN to stage in Mexico after fans THREATENED to sue them over festival.

The band changed their setlist after fans threatened to sue them for not changing songs despite advertising two ‘unique’ setlists for their Tool in the Sand festival.

Tool Monterrey Setlist:
Fear Inoculum
Jambi
Rosetta Stoned
Pneuma
Stinkfist
Descending
Schism
The Grudge
Encore:
Chocolate Chip Trip
Invincible
Vicarious

A fan named Bhatpat defended Tool on Reddit, “I went and had a fantastic time. The sound checks ruled both days; you could watch from the fence. CCT was a surprise. I didn’t think we’d get one this weekend, but I’m happy we did.

I can see why people were unhappy, but the booing was garbage. Honestly f**ked the vibe up for people who were just trying to enjoy the show for people who could get past the repeats.

Also, the primus set was an all-time primus set. It couldn’t have played out any better with Danny and Hoffman. Danny sitting in with UM for Red was great, too.

The weather was great, the water was warm, the food was decent, and the rooms were nice. It was much better to take all of those things in then stand in a merch line for 12 hours over two days.”
