Tool guitarist Adam Jones criticized a drummer for mocking Metallica’s Lars Ulrich in an Instagram video.
Drummer Tom Chambers posted a video where he mimicked Ulrich’s drumming style while attempting to play Tool’s “Vicarious.” In the caption of his video, Chambers wrote, “Lars plays ‘Vicarious’ by Tool! Everything is 4/4 if you try hard enough.”
This led Jones to defend the Metallica drummer, commenting, “Ok, I’ll say it. You’re very disrespectful, and you should be licking Lars’ boots.”
Chambers responded with a simple apology: “Okay, I’m sorry.”
