Fred Durst was not pleased with a drone hovering right in front of him during a Limp Bizkit concert on Sunday night, August 17th, in Istanbul, Turkey. The frontman swatted the flying device away as it got too close to the stage.

Video footage shows Limp Bizkit performing “Take a Look Around” near the end of their set when the drone begins to approach Durst during an instrumental section of the song.

After staring at the drone for several seconds, Durst swiftly slapped it to the ground with the microphone in his right hand, prompting screams and laughter from the audience. He then instructed a security guard to “throw it out into the crowd.”

Funny enough, Bizkit followed “Take a Look Around” with the appropriately titled “Break Stuff,” putting a wrap on the 14-song set.

Back in 2022, Mike Patton also tried to knock down a drone with his microphone during a Mr. Bungle show, but wasn’t as successful as Durst.

Limp Bizkit are currently on UK/European tour that wraps up this coming weekend with sets at the Reading and Leeds festivals, followed by a run of Latin American dates in November and December.
