TMZ is reporting that Guns N’ Roses’ tour bus broke down on the way to pick up the band in Indio, CA for Coachella. The bus sat idly for 3 hours in Fontana, but was then repaired and is now back on the road to Paradise City.

Eddie Trunk met with Guns N’ Roses members Axl Rose, Slash, and Duff McKagan when the band performed in Las Vegas last weekend, and he shared some insight on Izzy Stradlin and Steven Adler possibly joining the reunion in a new podcast, as transcribed by Alternative Nation.

“Let’s talk about the people that were not there, the people that everybody has been wondering and asking about, and that is of course Izzy Stradlin and Steven Adler. All I can tell you is that, and again, there’s some things I know that I can’t say, but to me I don’t think it’s out of the question at all that one or both of them could show up at some dates in the future. I think there’s different reasons for why neither of them are involved right now, but the way the vibe is with this camp, and Guns N’ Roses right now, I just sense it’s a very cool vibe, and I think the door is open to everybody.

It has to be right, it has to be done right, it has to be right for everybody, but I think that before all is said and done in all of this, I believe that we will see, at some point, at least for a couple of songs, maybe Izzy, and maybe Adler coming out. I don’t know when, I don’t know for sure, but I just think that the door is open, and I think that there are hopefully opportunities for that to happen down the line. I don’t think it’s going to happen anytime soon, but I do think that it is something that is not ruled out by anybody, for anybody, by either side.

If it was Adler, I’m sure he would just jump up and do a couple Appetite songs in place of Frank. But I think Steven has got a few things he’s got to deal with right now. Izzy Stradlin has always been a free spirit, he always marches to his own beat. He jumps up and down with Guns N’ Roses whenever he feels like it. So that’s very possible I think, and Steven hopefully for the summer getting out for some songs.”
