The Sun reports that One Direction’s Harry Styles may soon be collaborating with the Red Hot Chili Peppers. Styles is still with Sony Records, but will now be working out of the United States through the Columbia label in a 60 million pounds deal.

Red Hot Chili Peppers frontman Anthony Kiedis reportedly said, “We’ve got 20-30 songs that didn’t make the album and are on the cutting room floor.” He added, “There’s one that could be great for young Harry.”

Kiedis discussed camera phones at concerts in a recent French interview with Journal de Montreal. Below are translated quotes.

“The problem today, is the cameras during concerts. This keeps you from living in the moment. It is not important to have these pictures in megabytes. It is better to have them in your heart and your memory. We try to create an environment which is going to encourage them to keep their [camera phones] in their pockets and to look at us directly. In general, this works pretty well.”

He also discussed performing live, “Over time I learned to relax in order to not be too excited early in the day and then have a drop of adrenaline. I love when the butterflies arrive in time. This is important for the chemistry of a good performance.”
