Alex Van Halen accepted a Drumeo award with a surprise speech a couple days ago.
While Sammy Hagar has been focused on supporting LA Fire Aid, Michael Anthony has been enjoying himself at a different event. He posted on Instagram about his time at the Grand National Roadster Show in Pomona, California, sharing pictures and saying, “Had a great time today out at the Grand National Roadster show in Pomona, California. Ran into some good friends and saw some beautiful cars!!”
Hagar jokingly commented on Anthony’s post, saying, “Yo Mike, I’m sitting home watching Fire Aid and you’re out having fun without me! What the!”
Meanwhile, Hagar has been sharing his sadness about the wildfires in Southern California. He also posted about the passing of Sam Moore, calling him “the original soul man.” Hagar wrote, “I know there’s so much heartbreak and devastation going on in Southern California right now, but I have to share the passing of Sam Moore. The original soul man has left us to join his many brothers and sisters in the afterlife.”
In the comments, someone suggested that Hagar donate money to those who lost their homes in the fires. Hagar replied, “I will do much more than that. Coming up.”
The wildfires in Southern California, caused by drought and strong winds, have led to at least 29 deaths. Many people have lost their homes, including rock musicians Brad Wilk and Larry LaLonde. The fires have caused a lot of damage, but they have also led to people coming together to help those in need.
