Alice In Chains singer/guitarist Jerry Cantrell has uploaded photos of himself on Instagram wearing a kilt, and he looks stunning! A kilt is a type of knee-length non-bifurcated skirt with pleats at the back, originating in the traditional dress of Gaelic men and boys in the Scottish Highlands. It is first recorded in the 16th century as the great kilt, a full-length garment whose upper half could be worn as a cloak.

Cantrell borrowed the kilt skirt from his good friend Zakk Wylde from Ozzy Osbourne’s band and Black Label Society. Cantrell is wearing it for football ‘mojo.’

He wrote on Instagram, “Ok Hawks let’s get it done in big D. I’m borrowing a little mojo from my NFC brother of doom Zakk Wylde with the kilt, I got my lucky amber dice in my pouch that I got from the Mckagan’s for Christmas and my Russell Wilson Jersey on.

Michael Fabiano is on his way over with paninis to watch our teams go head to head. Congrats to Rich Eisen for dethroning Fabs as champ in the AICFFL. Playoff time…. let the best team win. Have a great 19 everyone ??…. and it just started raining in LA ….more Seattle mojo , BRING IT!!!!”
