At 63, Axl Rose is proving that age is just a number as he leads Guns N’ Roses on their expansive 2025 world tour, titled Because What You Want & What You Get Are Two Completely Different Things. The tour kicked off on May 1 in Incheon, South Korea, and is scheduled to wrap up on July 31 with a massive finale at a major European rock festival. Rose has lost weight, and looks great in 2025.

This year’s tour marks a lineup change for the band, with drummer Isaac Carpenter stepping in after the amicable departure of longtime member Frank Ferrer earlier this year. The current roster features Rose alongside original bandmates Slash and Duff McKagan, as well as Dizzy Reed, Richard Fortus, and Melissa Reese.

In a rare moment of self-deprecating humor, Guns N’ Roses recently shared a compilation video highlighting Axl’s onstage wipeouts over the years, including a recent stumble during a performance in Mumbai. The clip, set to “Welcome to the Jungle,” quickly went viral among fans.

As the tour continues across Europe and the Middle East, Axl Rose remains a commanding presence—still delivering the raw energy, unpredictability, and charisma that defined an era.
