A picture of Guns N’ Roses frontman Axl Rose has surfaced on social media in which he looked shredded.
Axl Rose is in great shape
He looked noticeably lean and muscular in the viral video. He was dressed casually but looking energetic and healthy.
Over the years, Rose’s physical appearance has often been a topic of discussion, especially following the band’s reunion in 2016 with Slash and Duff McKagan.
When asked by Q104.3 New York’s Shelli Sonstein what changed with Rose between the ’90s, when he was notorious for arriving late to concerts and agitating audiences and law enforcement, Duff McKagan had said that Rose had been going to the gym lately:
“What I’ve observed has really made me work so much harder. His work ethic is…he’s an animal. He’s in the gym. He starts and hour-and-a-half before the show vocal warmups. We do a three-and-a-half-hour long show. He broke his foot at the beginning of the tour; he didn’t say, ‘Let’s stop.’ He said, ‘Let’s continue, I’ll do it sitting down.'”

A few years ago, Axl Rose’s team demanded Google to remove the infamous photos of his sweaty, rounder-than-usual face from a 2010 concert, associated with the “fat Axl Rose” meme from their search engines.
His argument, boosted by Web Sheriff, a company with inexplicable taste in clip art that advocates B2B “persuasion” over litigation in piracy cases, was that the images, taken by Canadian photographer Boris Minkevich and originally published in the Winnipeg Free Press, were actually Rose’s own property.
Rose claimed that all photographers were required to sign a release form upon entering the concert; this might be the general rule at GNR shows, but Minkevich said he didn’t recall whether he did or did not sign one.
Rose might have felt that the meme is detracting attention from Guns’n’Roses’ forthcoming tour, what with the memes about “sweet pie’o’mine”, or “take me down to bakery city’. But then again, most people probably wouldn’t have heard of it if he hadn’t started issuing DMCA takedown requests.
