Smashing Pumpkins frontman Billy Corgan revealed who he thinks is the great band of the 90’s Grunge era in a new Instagram story Q&A.

I’ve noticed that people have been writing articles based off of these Q&A’s. Thoughts?

“Don’t care what others do. Vultures will be Vultures, feasting off the dead.”

Best band of the 90’s?

“Nirvana.”

Favorite band?

“Kraftwerk.”

Where can I buy Mellon Collie shirts from the 90’s?

“I am the perfect person to ask. Just do me a favor and ask in 300 fucking years, K?”

Thoughts on David Lynch?

“Stone cold genius.”

What is it like being famous in the music industry?

“Worthless, honestly.”

Was the level of fame you’ve achieved, desired, or just a by product of your artistic vision?

“You can’t conceive of that kind of fame when you’re in some basement in the suburbs.”

Do you like Dino Jr?

“Yes. One of the first bands I ever saw play live. Blew my mind…”
