Smashing Pumpkins frontman Billy Corgan has recently been answering fan questions on his Instagram stories. A lot of the Q&A’s are based around some shtick, like that he is Billy’s chair or crooked teeth, so that is the basis for some of his sarcastic answers. Below are some questions and answers.

Are you any relation to the Angry Chair?

2nd cousin.

What do you think about Alice In Chains?

One of the best bands ever.

Do you like the band MGMT?

Yes. One of the best songs too of last decade.

Do you believe there are cords which connect ourselves to other souls?

Yeah, like guitar cords, but you can’t see them. And you can’t buy them at Guitar Center.

What sets your soul on fire?

Love. Pure, unadulterated love. Which appears in mind’s eye a lot like God It-Self.

You are a good man?

I am a great man.

Special gift for Miami, can you play Tiberius?

Sure. Just send you desired set list to: 666 Santa Claus Lane, North Pole, USA.

Billy Corgan performed “Down in a Hole” with Alice In Chains on May 18, 2006 in Hollywood at the Roxy as the band kicked off their reunion tour with William DuVall.
