Body Found Off Cornwall As Search Continues For Mick Jagger Relative’s Partner

A body has been recovered from the sea off the English coastal town of Bude, Cornwall, during the search for Alexander Key, the longtime partner of Assisi Jackson, who is Mick Jagger’s granddaughter. Police said the remains have not yet been formally identified, but officers believe they belong to the 37-year-old man who had been reported missing last month.

In a statement, Devon and Cornwall Police said officers and HM Coastguard were called on Saturday evening after a body was found in the water near Bude. The force added that Key’s death is not being treated as suspicious, and his family asked for privacy while thanking those involved in the search, New York Post reported.

Key was the partner of Ms. Jackson, 33, and they share two children, according to the report. Ms. Jackson is the daughter of Ms. Jade Jagger, 54, a British jewellery designer and the daughter of Rolling Stones frontman Mick Jagger.

Police said Key, a chef, was last seen on January 23 at around 2:30 p.m. at the Cobweb Inn in Boscastle, Cornwall. Officers said CCTV later captured him leaving the pub alone about an hour later, with further images placing him the next day walking near the Wellington Pub in the direction of Boscastle Harbour and the River Valency; Alternative Nation previously reported on the missing-person appeal when a Mick Jagger family member’s partner was reported missing.

The discovery marks a major development in what had been an active missing-person search in the area. Authorities have said formal identification and next-of-kin processes are still pending, but the case is now expected to move into coroner-led procedures unless new information changes the police assessment.
