Hollywood Life is reporting that Brad Pitt has reacted to images released of the hotel room where Chris Cornell died, specifically the bloody ones that TMZ posted (that Detroit News and Alternative Nation did not choose to report on).

The graphic images TMZ reported from Detroit police show blood in Chris Cornell’s Detroit hotel room bathroom, and near the exercise band he used to commit suicide.

Brad Pitt was close friends with 52-year-old Cornell, and was left distraught at his pal’s death, and he’s now said to be devastated upset that these images have surfaced.

‘Brad saw the bloody pics of Chris’ room after his suicide and it was really painful,’ a source told HollywoodLife. ‘He’s still so, so sad about his friend’s death.’

The 53-year-old actor is said to be heartbroken that Chris’ children, Lillian Cornell, 17, Toni Cornell, 12, and Christopher Cornell, 11, will now be able to see the bloody images of where their dad died.

‘It breaks his heart that they have to see those pics,’ the source continued.

Brad Pitt was photographed with Chris Cornell’s children Toni and Chris at Universal Studios in May following the death of the legendary Soundgarden frontman. See the adorable photos below. Pitt treated the children to hot chocolate and took them to the Jurassic Park ride. They were accompanied by two bodyguards.
