Bret Michaels Urges Sharon Osbourne to Launch Festival

Poison frontman Bret Michaels has floated a new idea for Sharon Osbourne’s next chapter, suggesting she bring major rock acts together for a large-scale festival concept tied to Ozzy Osbourne’s legacy.

In an Instagram post, Michaels shared an older photo of himself with Ms. Osbourne and thanked her family for the influence they have had on him, while proposing a live event for fans. Michaels wrote, “I hope you will consider putting some great bands together for all the great fans to see an incredible festival.”

Michaels also offered to take part himself, suggesting a “60-minute classic rock mashup set” featuring him and other veteran performers, adding that it would be “all killer hits no filler.” He said he would attend as a fan regardless of whether he was booked to perform.

The post comes as Michaels remains a frequent subject of speculation around Poison, including reports and denials about the band’s future, with Poison addressing a rumour about Michaels’ status in the group.

Ms. Osbourne has been linked to various music-industry plans over the years, and Michaels’ pitch highlights how strongly the Ozzfest brand still resonates with rock and metal artists who came up alongside it. Whether the idea develops into a formal project, the public invitation shows Michaels positioning himself as a willing participant in any Osbourne-led live comeback.
