Bruce Springsteen Fans Fume Over $3,000 Tickets
Bruce Springsteen is facing renewed backlash from parts of his fanbase over the cost of tickets for his upcoming 2026 “Land of Hope and Dreams” run with the E Street Band. The criticism centres on prices that some fans say are out of reach for the singer’s traditionally working-class audience, with frustration playing out in the comments section of Springsteen’s tour announcements online.
According to New York Post, some tickets for the 20-date tour have been listed as high as $3,000, with fans also objecting to Ticketmaster’s Platinum-style pricing that can rise in real time based on demand.
The tour is set to begin March 31 in Minneapolis and is scheduled to include stops at major New York-area venues including Madison Square Garden, UBS Arena, Barclays Center and Newark’s Prudential Center, before concluding May 27 in Washington, D.C. The report also notes specific low-end prices shown on Ticketmaster for some dates, including figures in the high $100s to mid-$300s depending on the venue and night.
Springsteen has dealt with similar complaints in recent years, and Alternative Nation has previously covered fan anger over Ticketmaster dynamic pricing tied to his shows.
With several dates not yet sold out, the reaction highlights the ongoing tension between premium ticketing models and expectations that legacy rock acts—particularly ones closely identified with working-class themes—will keep arena pricing within reach for longtime fans.
