In a new interview with The Sunday Times, Bruce Springsteen has once again opened up about what he thinks about the current situation in the United States and President Donald Trump’s administration.

“We’re living through a terrible moment in history, where Congress has neutered itself and the boundaries that once curtailed this type of leadership have disintegrated,” he said.

“The pure incompetence of [the administration] may carry the seeds of its own destruction. But I don’t know what’s going to happen. I haven’t lived through a time like this in my entire life and I’m 75 years-old.”

Speaking specifically about the recent immigration raids that are taking place, Springsteen added that “it’s been disgusting and dehumanizing for so many folks who live here in the country.”

These comments are just a few of the criticisms Springsteen has expressed about Trump over the last several months. During a show in Manchester, England this past May, the musician called the current administration “corrupt, incompetent, and treasonous.” Most recently, in an interview with The New York Times, Springsteen described the situation unfolding in the US as an “American tragedy,” adding that Trump is a “moron.”

In that interview, however, The Boss explained that there is still some hope for the future:

“We have a long democratic history. We don’t have an autocratic history as a nation. It’s fundamentally democratic, and I believe that at some point that’s going to rear its head and things will swing back.”
