CHAD SMITH’s daughter is SHOCKED to hear her father SINGING at the Grammys.

On Sunday night, RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS drummer Chad Smith and singer Anthony Kiedis presented Sabrina Carpenter with a Grammy for “Best Pop Vocal Album” at the 37th Annual Grammy Awards.

Before announcing Carpenter as the winner, Smith and Kiedis sang a couple of lines from their hit song “Under the Bridge” (without musical accompaniment) to honor those in Los Angeles who have been affected by last month’s devastating fires.

Following Smith’s acapella version of “Under the Bridge,” his daughter Ava Maybee took to her Instagram Stories to reveal how shocked she was to see and hear her dad singing.

Sharing a short clip of Smith and Kiedis on stage at the Grammys, along with her reaction, Ava wrote: “Can you tell I’m surprised my dad is SINGING????? At the grammys????”
