Chris Cornell’s widow Vicky has offered a look into the late singer’s notebook he used to write lyrics for Audioslave’s Out of Exile album on the 13th anniversary of the album’s release.

She wrote on Instagram, “OUT OF EXILE was released 13 years ago today. Bittersweet- most was written while I was pregnant with our baby Toni -so much love… #audioslave #chriscornell #tommorello #bradwilk #timcommerford — ‘Our holy place is holy still; our love is not diminished by absence or by pain. Death has but interrupted our loving , and I know I shall see you again, if the world lasts.’ Nancy Wood.”

Out of Exile featured two of Audioslave’s biggest hits, “Be Yourself” and “Doesn’t Remind Me.”
