Chris Cornell & Tom Morello Previously Unreleased Video Leaks

A rare video of a 2014 Chris Cornell and Tom Morello rehearsal has leaked. You can watch the video below. The former Audioslave bandmates reunited in September 2014 for the show in Seattle, which was one of only 3 times Cornell and Morello shared the stage together after Audioslave’s final December 2005 performance. They first reunited onstage as part of an all star jam at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2013, and they played together for the final time when Audioslave reunited for a one off performance at the Anti-Inaugural Ball in January 2017.

After a rocky split with Audioslave, Cornell and Morello were on very good terms for the last few years of Cornell’s life, with hopes of doing an Audioslave reunion tour when their schedules cleared up. Cornell was even filmed backstage at Audioslave’s reunion show discussing the great possibility of a reunion tour, mentioning they had three albums of material they could go through, as the bands never toured Revelations in 2006 due to tension that would eventually lead to their 2007 split.

Chris Cornell tragically died in May 2017 before an Audioslave reunion tour could happen, but his surviving bandmates will perform at his ‘I Am The Highway’ tribute show in Los Angeles on January 16, 2019.
