The Chris and Vicky Cornell Foundation website has relaunched with the following:

“I WAS LUCKY ENOUGH TO BE IN THE RIGHT PLACE AT THE RIGHT TIME TO MAKE A CAREER DOING SOMETHING I LOVE. NOT EVERY KID GETS THOSE OPPORTUNITIES. I’M IN A FORTUNATE POSITION TO USE MUSIC TO SUPPORT IMPORTANT CAUSES THAT HELP FOSTER CHANGE.”

Chris Cornell

The Chris and Vicky Cornell Foundation honors the memory of Chris by supporting and forwarding the causes he loved most: helping vulnerable children.

We are a registered 501(c)3 (non-profit) corporation in California.

The Foundation is currently designing its new web site and will be active shortly. In the meantime please feel free to contact us.

Thank you for your patience.

Childhaven received a generous donation from the Chris and Vicky Cornell Foundation a couple of months ago to establish a music therapy program. According to Childhaven’s website, “Since 1909, Childhaven has been a safe and caring place for babies, toddlers and preschoolers. Today, our trailblazing childhood trauma treatment program heals the youngest survivors of abuse and neglect and prepares them for success in school and in life.

By improving parenting skills and strengthening relationships, our mission is to break the cycle of abuse and neglect and lay the foundation for generations of safe and nurturing families.”

Chris Cornell’s mother-in-law Toni Karayiannis wrote on Instagram asking for fans to share their stories and be open about depression, suicide, mental health, and child abuse to end the stigma.

“Ppl ask how can a person abuse a child? I ask how can so many ‘ good ‘ ppl don’t do anything abt it? They bring awareness to depression suicide I agree! But how abt their own experiences to stop abuse? By telling your story of abuse ,won’t that also help the depression and suicide? SAVE CHILDREN FROM ABUSE U CAN! NO STIGMA to talk abt your own abuse! Like Chester Bennington did! Then I will join you to a fight who deserves all the help! Why hide? Afraid of stigma or afraid to bring your abusers to justice? PLEASE HELP OTHERS BY GIVING US YOUR STORY! Bring awareness to depression suicide mental health and CHILD ABUSE!Thank you! U will have my respect!???”

“Seek the truth not what is comfortable! U must speak up of depression, mental health ,suicide , without silence the abuse of children! Chester Bennington is speaking out so can you! We can’t silence children abuse! Vulnerable children is a fight we must never forget!Survivor victims can save lives by speaking out!”

Vicky Cornell, Toni Karayiannis, and Toni Cornell recently visited refugees at a camp to #KeepThePromise.
