A fan recently responded to a post from Chris Cornell’s Twitter account, tweeting his widow Vicky Cornell: “why do you let someone tweet from Chris’ account? Don’t you find it odd and hurtful?”

“Make a new one.”

Vicky responded, “I find your comment odd and hurtful. This is his account and his legacy. If you don’t like it please unfollow.”

She also tweeted about her late husband Chris’ 2018 Grammy nomination for Best Rock Performance with “The Promise.”

“So proud of @chriscornell -wishing you were here……#keepthepromise #noonesingslikeyouanymore.”

A fan recently tweeted in response to a Chris Cornell Twitter account post: “For a dead guy you tweet a lot.”

Cornell’s widow Vicky responded, “This site belongs to my husband for his extraordinary musical legacy – I ask that you be respectful how you speak. You can easily unfollow.”

The fan later apologized.

Chris Cornell’s widow Vicky recently wished her mother and Chris’ mother-in-law Toni Karayiannis a happy birthday on Twitter, and she shared very personal and previously unseen photos of Karayiannis with her family, including Chris. Vicky wrote, “Happy B-Day to my beautiful mom. So blessed, so grateful TO you and FOR you. Thank you for your unconditional love!”
