Courtney Love revealed that she moved on from her feud with Dave Grohl and she feels everybody else should too.

The singer addressed past contention with the Foo Fighters frontman during a recent appearance on The Magnificent Others with Billy Corgan podcast on Wednesday, April 1.

While talking about being bad-mouthed in the press, Love encouraged Grohl, to “come out with it and just say we’re cool.”

Courtney Love said she faces criticism mainly from straight white male fans—especially millennials—while noting Gen Zee has eased off. Billy Corgan responded that Dave Grohl personally has no issue with her, but Love dismissed that, arguing Grohl’s fanbase continues to target her.

“It would really behoove me if the straight white males that are your base, if you will, stop picking on me. The millennials in particular. Gen Z is not picking on me anymore.”

Corgan noted that he’s spent time with Grohl, and “can confirm that… Dave doesn’t have any issue” with Love, who replied, “Say that to his base. It’s so stupid.”

She said she doesn’t understand why Dave Grohl has written multiple hit songs about her, adding that she couldn’t even write one about him if she tried.

“I couldn’t write a song about Dave Grohl to save my life,” she said. “He’s written like, four songs about me and they’re hits. I’m like, wait what? Like, what about me? I don’t get it.”
