Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl discussed a messy diaper change with his daughter in a new SVT interview. Alternative Nation transcribed his comments.
“The last time we got home, my wife bought these new kind of diapers.”
“They weren’t the kinds with the latch, where you pull them up. So I come home, I’m all excited for my daughter to wake up. She wakes up, and she says, ‘Daddy!’ I’m like, ‘Hey!’ I pick her up out of the crib, and she says, ‘Change my diaper.’ I said, ‘Yeah sure.’
So I put her down to change the diaper and I just immediately pull this diaper off, and excuse me for being graphic, it was the biggest shit I’ve seen in my entire life. I just went (shocked gasp). It was on the thing, it was on my arm, and it was on my shirt. I was like, ‘No no no! Wait wait wait!’
So it was 15 minutes of, ‘Don’t move! Don’t move!’ Then one wipe do this, and one wipe and do that. I’ll bet you every rock star that you’ve ever seen on a poster or on TV has been in that same situation, where they’re in an uncomfortable position, where they’re baby’s shit is just all over them. It happens.”
