TMZ are reporting that Chris Cornell’s body was cremated yesterday at the Hollywood Forever Ceremony with 4 people in attendance.
Sources connected to the ceremony tell TMZ 4 people were at the cremation ceremony: Chris’ brother, Peter, his wife, Vicky, as well as his friends Linda Ramone and singer J.D. King.
The group was there for about an hour, and they’ll gather again Friday with other family members at the cemetery. The service will be private, and Chris’ ashes will be buried.
The private funeral for Soundgarden singer Chris Cornell, who died in Detroit early Thursday, will be held on Friday at Hollywood Forever Cemetery.
After 3 P.M. local time, the public is welcome to visit the gravesite, after the private concludes, Cornell’s attorney told to Variety on Tuesday.
Information about larger public memorials was still undecided at press time.
