Eddie Trunk just stated that he had known for the last 2 weeks that Ace was not doing well.
He said he’s aware of the Ace Frehley death rumors but has yet to confirm it with a reliable source just yet. Trunk said he can’t speak until official statements are out, and sounded emotional, as he is friends with Frehley.

TMZ reported that sources close to Frehley noted that the 74-year-old musician suffered a serious brain bleed after falling in his home studio a couple of weeks ago.

The injury led to cancelation of his upcoming tour dates, and his condition has not improved since. It has been reported that he has been on a ventilator for some time, and his family is now considering ending life support, possibly as soon as Thursday evening.

Though there have been rumors on social media that he has already passed away, the outlet’s sources confirmed that Frehley remained on life support as of Thursday afternoon. After his fall, his official Instagram page had posted messages stating that he was fine but under doctor’s orders to rest and not travel.

A later statement announced that all of his 2025 tour dates were canceled due to ongoing medical issues.

Ace Frehley is the founding member of KISS, joining Gene Simmons, Paul Stanley, and Peter Criss. He is known as “The Spaceman” and played with the band until 1982 before launching a solo career with his group Frehley’s Comet. He later rejoined KISS for their 1996 reunion tour and stayed until 2002.
