EB Research Partnership’s 9th Annual ACTion for Jackson will take place on Thursday at 583 Park Avenue in New York. Pearl Jam frontman Eddie Vedder and his wife Jill will appear as part of the event committee, as they are founders of the EB Research Partnership.

EB Research Partnership is the largest nonprofit dedicated to funding research aimed at treating and ultimately curing Epidermolysis Bullosa, a group of devastating and life-threatening skin disorders that affect children from birth.

EBRP works to treat and cure EB as quickly and efficiently as possible, fulfilling our mission through partnerships with non-profit and for-profit organizations, foundations, individual donors, and the EB and research communities.

Leading researchers say treatments and a cure for EB are within reach. Though we have made significant progress, we need much greater resources in our pursuit of a cure.

Ticket prices are $250, $500, $1,000, $2,500, $7,500, $15,000, $20,000, $30,000 and include various amounts of tickets, and even describes how the money will go to help people with EB. The more expensive tickets come with corporate sponsorships. The $30,000 ticket is a ‘Platinum Sponsor’ tickets and includes: Large corporate logo in all marketing materials and at the event, listing on all pre and post event outreach, correspondence and communications as a Platinum Sponsor, exclusive recognition at the bars and cocktail areas, 15 complimentary tickets to attend the event, and sponsorship of 3 individuals with EB and their families to attend the event.
