90’s singer Liz Phair was surprised to see polaroids of Pearl Jam frontman Eddie Vedder, Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl, and former Screaming Trees drummer Mark Pickerel at the Sub Pop SeaTac store. Phair got her polaroid taken and it was added to a collage that featured pictures of Vedder, Grohl, and Pickerel. Vedder was photographed with his daughter, while Grohl and Pickerel were photographed together with the caption: ‘Friends In Flannel Forever.’
Phair tweeted, “Made the wall! Eddie Vedder & Dave Grohl sandwich (w TM Nolan McGuire) at @subpop store in SeaTac.”
Sub Pop’s website states about the store, “The Sub Pop Airport Store at Sea-Tac Airport is a mix of the classic Sub Pop Mega Mart and a Pacific Northwest-centric gift shop. We collaborated with designers, artists, and companies who also call the Pacific Northwest home and created a vast array of brand new Sub Pop and PNW-related wares for your enjoyment.
So, if you’re flying into, out of, or have a layover in Seattle, stop by the entrance to Concourse C between the hours of 6am–10pm.”
