Pearl Jam frontman held a live in conversation with Damien Echols on Monday night at the Neptune Theater in Seattle for his High Magick book. Vedder came onstage with a hilarious briefcase, his hard ukulele case!

mwplum posted on the Pearl Jam Ten Club board, “We attended the event last night. Both my wife and I had reservations about driving 2+ hours for a conversation (that’s a new one for us, and difficult to explain to the border guards), but it was well worth it. Such a powerful, loving, and humorous chat. The only criticism I have is that Eddie needs to get a new briefcase/backpack (he used a hard uke case)! While we knew that no music would be played, it was still such a tease when he walked out with that case 🙂 !!!”
