A fan who attended Pearl Jam frontman Eddie Vedder’s recent Citi Sound Vault performance at The Chapel in San Francisco a couple of days ago detailed how Vedder paid tribute to Tom Petty.
jroberteup wrote on Instagram, “Eddie F. Vedder playing Tom Petty’s guitar. #Df17 #Iwontbackdown.”
Andrew Heep wrote on Instagram, “Had the opportunity to help put a show together with the great Eddie Vedder last night! Incredible show. As a lifelong PJ fan this was an amazing highlight for me. Thanks for stepping into the #citisoundvault Ed! @citi #livenation @pearljam @eddie_vedder.”
See a photo of Vedder with the guitar below, and a clip of “Hard Sun.”
