Foo Fighters hiring NEW DRUMMER from metal band Sepultura?

Former Sepultura drummer Jean Dolabella left Brazilian singer Pitty’s band, which had been playing in Brazil for 2 years, in November 2024 and moved to Los Angeles. He didn’t join any band, he just opened a studio in the city. Today, he posted this photo of a broken drumstick, a clear reference to Slipknot’s Instagram post that “confirmed” Eloy Casagrande’s entry into the band last year. (Jean was the one who recommended Eloy to Sepultura in 2011 when he left the band.)

It’s worth remembering that Jean Dolabella has already recorded two albums at Studio 606, with the band he had founded, Ego Kill Talent, which opened for Foo Fighters in Brazil years ago during the C&G tour.

My opinion: he’s just making fun of the rumors that have been emerging since he moved to Los Angeles. But yes, there’s a chance it could be something. Keep an eye on it. The two albums he recorded with Sepultura are very heavy, “A-lex” (2009) and “Kairos” (2011).
