Jane’s Addiction will perform their first public concert in nearly 3 years at 2020’s online Lollapalooza, along with Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins and Porno For Pyros. Jane’s Addiction performed at a private memorial earlier this year.

Paul McCartney, Chance the Rapper, Arcade Fire, Outkast, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Metallica, LCD Soundsystem, Ellie Goulding, Lorde and more will perform at the digital 2020 Lollapalooza from August 2nd to 5th, streamed live on YouTube for free. The broadcasts will begin at 5PM each evening, with a schedule set to be announced soon.

The festival of music videos will air exclusively on YouTube starting at 5 p.m. each night. The complete schedule will be announced on Wednesday.

Skellytor11 recently posted on Reddit, “Hey everyone, some people from Lolla/C3 reached out and were hoping to get some input and ideas for the livestreamed Lolla event they are planning! They have seen all of the ideas and hard work that u/C_Rufio and u/mccarthy2324 have put into planning the reddit event and thought it was awesome!

They will be streaming archived sets (including ones from the 90’s that will be new for a lot of us and nostalgic for the ones lucky enough to have been there), supporting nonprofits (Color of Change, Change.org, and the Equal Justice Initiative), and have other surprises planned. They want to know what else you would like to see!

Are there certain sets that you would love to relive? Or maybe missed?

Organizations/nonprofits that you would like to see supported?

Any other aspects of Lolla that you want to see incorporated?

Lolla has never done something like this, so they are really open to suggestions for making it special for the people who love the fest. They will be looking at this thread, so feel free to share any ideas!”
