Ghost mastermind Tobias Forge was recently on ‘Rage’ television, and he discussed Faith No More and Jane’s Addiction. Alternative Nation transcribed Forge’s comments. Tobias Forge recently reacted to a small crowd at a Ghost show.

“In the 90’s there were a few bands that I liked a lot, and still like to this day, that are consecutively hard to niche. One band is Faith No More. Who knows what they play? No one knows really. It’s a synth band? No. Is it a heavy metal band? No, not really. It’s just a really, really good rock band.

Another band that I like to place next to Faith No More is Jane’s Addiction. Another band that also are very hard to define what they are. If there is a need to define what bands are, but in the rock world, it is sometimes important. But, I think that they kept their illusive nature, and in the early 2000’s, they made a comeback with a new record out of nowhere. This was one of the big hits from that records, and this is a song that I like a lot, so here you go, Jane’s Addiction ‘Just Because.’”

Faith No More and Jane’s Addiction are both currently inactive, with Faith No More having last played live in 2015, while Jane’s Addiction have been on hiatus since 2017.
