Filter frontman Richard Patrick has called Chainsmokers ‘shit’ on Instagram, and accused the group of lipsyncing on Saturday Night Live. Patrick wrote on Instagram, “The chainsmokers are shit. That is all. #lipsync #lipsyncing #fake #bullshit #liars #shittymusic. #fuckyou #thatisall.”
He also said in an Instagram video, “Okay, I know a lot of things, and I know when things are not live. You sir, are not fucking singing live on Saturday Night Live. The Chainsmokers are a piece of shit! That is all.”
