Guns N’ Roses keyboardist Melissa Reese recently issued her first public statement since stepping away from the band’s spring touring run, telling fans she’s been overwhelmed by the support as the group continues its 2026 world tour without her onstage.

In a message posted to Instagram, Reese said she had been “floored” by the response and thanked both fans and her bandmates for giving her room to “sort stuff out.”

“Hey everyone. The insane amount of messages of support I’ve received has floored me. They are everything during this time and have been so touching,” Reese wrote, adding that she loves her “Guns N’ Roses bandmily” and appreciates being given space. She also told followers she plans to keep posting online, but with an emphasis on “the happier non-yucky side of things,” and said she hopes to see fans again soon.

Reese has been part of Guns N’ Roses’ touring lineup since 2016, joining as a second keyboardist alongside Dizzy Reed, and her absence marks a notable shift as the band moves through its current schedule. In past work around the Guns N’ Roses camp, she has also been credited with producing Axl Rose vocals on “Love To Love”, reflecting how closely she’s been tied to the group’s extended creative world.

No replacement has been announced, and Reese’s statement did not specify a timeline for her return to touring. For now, her comments suggest the pause is temporary, while Guns N’ Roses presses ahead with its upcoming dates.
