Jane’s Addiction announced a North American tour featuring support from the English rock band Love and Rockets, scheduled for August and September.

These shows marked the first extended run of performances since 2010 for the classic Jane’s Addiction lineup, including vocalist Perry Farrell, guitarist Dave Navarro, drummer Stephen Perkins, and bassist Eric Avery. Avery departed the band in 2010 but rejoined in 2022. Navarro, however, missed a tour in 2022 due to complications from long COVID-19.

It’s disappointing news that Jane’s Addiction won’t be performing in Amsterdam due to an unforeseen illness within the band. They expressed regret at having to cancel, emphasizing that this decision was made after careful consideration, as canceling a show is always their last resort. Understandably, the band and crew are devastated by this turn of events.

Jane’s Addiction assured their fans that they are committed to making it up to them and expressed gratitude for their understanding and support during this difficult time. For ticket holders, arrangements will be made for full refunds at their point of purchase.

Fans and supporters of Jane’s Addiction can look forward to future opportunities to experience their music live, as the band aims to return to the stage as soon as possible.
