Perry Farrell disappointed the fans with his actions in a controversial violent incident during the band’s performance in Boston on Friday. Things quickly escalated as Farrell appeared to lose control on stage. This led to the altercation with bandmate Dave Navarro, with bassist Eric Avery also getting involved. Navarro has since unfollowed Perry Farrell.

This sparked speculation regarding the band’s future. The dramatic video of the altercation spread like wildfire after the show ended in a cliffhanger. This emotional explosion coming on the heels of some “off” moments in other cities that have already been a subject of discussion on social media. This raised concerns of whether the remaining gigs on the band’s long-awaited reunion tour, their first in 14 years, would proceed as scheduled.

During the altercation, Farrell tried to physically attack Navarro. Thankfully, bassist Eric Avery stepped in and restrained Farrell, with the help of crew members, to prevent the situation from escalating further. Farrell was held back in a bear hug by Avery while seemingly continuing to throw punches, possibly hitting Avery in the process.

The band’s security and road crew eventually had to drag Farrell off the stage as the audience watched in stunned silence. The show, which had reportedly been going well until that point, came to an abrupt end about 15 minutes early, leaving fans deeply concerned for Farrell’s well-being.
